Now, the Bears are offering an opportunity to learn from the best, and garner the same skills of one of the GVL’s great goalers.
In a school holiday clinic on Monday, June 29, Borger will be leading a netball program for children to help develop their netball skills, learn the game’s fundamentals and build their confidence to grow into potentially the next GVL prodigies.
Borger will show how to ‘train like a Vixen’ in two 90 minute sessions at Shepparton Basketball Stadium on courts one and two, with a 9:00am timeslot for six to 10-year-olds, and an 11:00am training for 11 to 14-year-olds.
The clinic is for any netball skill set, whether it be a current junior keen to enhance their game or someone interested in the sport for the first time.
Registration costs $30 per child, and can be booked via Shepparton Football Netball Club’s Facebook page, or here.
Participants will need to bring a drink bottle with water, a netball if owned, any medication they require on the day, ensuring all items are clearly named, while wearing activewear or comfortable clothes and netball shoes or runners.
