Shepparton United will be looking for someone to fill the role of a regular senior member after a Demon was handed a one-week suspension, while a star Magpie has avoided a ban at Euroa in the Goulburn Valley League.
Shepparton United’s Mitch Travaskis was reported for intentionally striking another person, graded with high contact and low impact.
Travaskis was offered a sanction of two-match suspension for a strike against a Seymour opponent, which could be downgraded to one match with an early guilty plea.
The Demon accepted the guilty plea and will miss Shepparton United’s clash with Rochester on Saturday.
Meanwhile, VFL-listed Euroa forward Cohen Paul has made an early plea to avoid a one-match suspension for rough conduct in the Magpies’ round 10 GVL clash with Shepparton.
Graded careless conduct, body contact and low impact, the one-match sanction was reduced to a reprimand.
Additionally, Tatura forward Blake Armstrong has ensured he won’t miss the Bulldogs’ match against the Bears this weekend, after a low level offence of making careless contact with an umpire against Mansfield.
The one-match sanction was lowered to a reprimand following Armstrong’s acceptance of an early plea.
