After four wins from four matches, Katandra has hit the Cricket Shepparton Haisman Shield season at full steam.
Last year's grand finalist is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon with the addition of former North Melbourne AFL footballer Sam Wright bolstering its already star-studded line-up.
In his first game in the A-grade side, Wright top-scored with a mesmerising 61-run knock as the Eagles cruised to a 100-run win against Central Park-St Brendan's.
The half-century followed his breath-taking century in Katandra's Twenty20 match against Maiden Gully a fortnight ago.
Wright's introduction into the side leaves United with more headaches, as it tries to become the first team to derail the Eagles train this season.
And it no doubt has an abundance of confidence behind it, following an immaculate performance against Karramomus last weekend.
United rattled through the Bloods’ batting line-up with coach Chaminda Vidanapathirana (1-7) and Sam Nash (2-14) starring with the new ball.
Nash now has three wickets from his past two matches and looks to be finding form after missing United's round four clash against Northerners.
And gun all-rounder Rehan Bari stepped up and produced damaging figures of 4-6 off six overs.
“We had a terrific opening spell from our two strike bowlers,” United captain Dwain Vidler said following his side's win against Karramomus.
“Chaminda and Sam both bowled really well, especially Chaminda with his six maidens off nine overs.
“The tight bowling from them allowed Rehan to come on and bowl well when Karra was looking to score.”
