While the Tigers have played a tough schedule in their first five games, with matches against Numurkah, Nagambie, Northerners and Katandra, they have had a hard time limiting opposition totals and only have a win against Karramomus to show for their first five fixtures.
They head to face the Students off the back of a 100-run loss to Katandra in which they could not contain the dangerous Eagles batsmen, allowing a total of 7-227 before being bowled out in 37 overs and falling 100 runs short.
Opener Connor Holland continues to be some sort of shining light for the Tigers, his 20 runs last weekend taking his tally to 159 runs at 31.8 this season.
Andrew Lloyd is the only other Tiger to pass the 100-run mark this season with 137 at 27.4, with the side needing to find a number of more contributors to bat out 80 overs.
With the ball, Ramadan Yze and Xavier Chalkley have led the way with seven wickets each, but they will be tested by a Students side entering full of confidence after putting away Tatura by five wickets.
The Students got a start from all their batsmen last weekend, but middle-order maestro Gino Saracino caught the eye with a slashing 43 not out.
Fabulous Felix Odell is among the league's top batsmen this campaign with 180 at 45, with Callan McCabe also in great touch with 118 runs.
Liam Callegari has been the clear bowling standout, with 10 wickets at 14.6.
