Details for the farewell of Tommy Day III have been released, with a service to celebrate his life and cultural legacy.

The Goulburn Valley will come together on Friday, June 12 to celebrate the life of respected Indigenous artist Tommy Day III, whose powerful artwork and deep connection to Country has left a lasting mark on communities across the region.

Beloved son of Joanne and Dwayne, Tommy was a treasured brother to Sara, Jasmine, Ayla, Harrison, Tahnee and Tori. He was also a much-loved uncle to Pearl, Tianah, Danny, Jeremih and Marley.
Tommy's family warmly invite all those whose lives were touched by him to join them in celebrating his life and legacy.
A funeral service will be held at Riverlinks Eastbank, 70 Welsford St, Shepparton, on Friday, June 12, commencing at 11am.
Following the service, Tommy will be laid to rest at Cummeragunja, before family, friends and community gather for a wake at the GV Hotel.
Remembered for his kindness, creativity and unwavering connection to culture, Tommy’s legacy will continue to live on through his art, his family and the many people he inspired.
