Most round three matches were able to be completed before the worst of the weather hit, with action taking place across all grades of the competition.
In the A1-A2 division Shepparton Lawn Red got within five games of Shepparton Lawn Green in a derby battle.
Red's Lucas Power-Kennedy and Merde Yamfu managed set victories before the weather hit, as did Green's Sam Brown, Emily Schreck, Amelia Willmott and Clara Lukies in the 4-31 to 2-26 triumph.
All eight sets were played in the contest between Mooroopna Cats Blue and Kialla Park Blue, with the latter taking a comfortable triumph.
Mason Tucker, Josh Cecil, Rohan Simpson and Max Crowe were all in brilliant form for the Parkers in the 7-46 to 1-28 win, with Brock Ballintine taking the sole set win for the Cats.
Kialla Park Gold and Mooroopna Cats White also got through an entire match, with the latter fighting hard to close the gap in the final few sets.
Gold flew out of the blocks with Shaun Morris, Lachi Fisher, Hollie Daldy and Rachael Fisher all performing outstandingly.
But Cats Nicola Brown, Samuel Macadam, Hayden Pearce and Sarah Mackay claimed the final three sets of the fixture — and two of those in tiebreaks — to bring the final score to 5-43 to 3-34 in Gold's favour.
