The three-person team of Stephen Hope, Isaac Hope and Tilmann Sauer took out the grand final 7-4 in the conclusion to the eight-week season.
A mixture of singles and doubles were the order of business as the winning team shot to an early advantage in the best of 11 matches.
It was an early deficit the gallant runner-up team of Nila Zampa, Ray Kissell, and Jesse Edwards couldn’t track down, despite a late comeback in the finale.
Victory makes it two successive grand final wins for Hope, who was a winner with Edwards and Chris Hawking last time around.
It draws a close to another successful season for the ETTA which, like many other sporting organisations, struggled to find any fluency in competition throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, the organisation has recovered to host eight teams competing throughout the season.
The association plays at St Mary’s church hall on Anstruther Street, with competition taking place on Wednesday nights.
