Getting ready to inspire the next generation of farmers is the upcoming Food and Fibre Careers Day which will see hundreds of students from around the state interested in a career in agriculture gather in Dookie this week.
St Georges Rd Primary School students got their hands dirty last week to plant some trees for the One Tree Per Child program - check out Megan Fisher’s photos here.
Love a good author talk? Local author Scott Muldeary will be visiting one of the region’s libraries to discuss his newest novel, Sparks of Resilience, in the coming weeks.
