A man was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital in a critical condition on Friday night after a collision near Moama.

Paramedics were called to the scene just outside Moama about 5.25pm. The air ambulance was required to land on the Cobb Hwy.
The driver, believed to be in his 50s, had to be cut free from the car and was airlifted to Melbourne with upper and lower body injuries.
A second man, also in his 50s, was driven to Echuca Regional Health in a stable condition for observation.
Fire and Rescue NSW and Moama Rural Fire Service were providing assistance, along with NSW Police Force and Ambulance Victoria.
Deniliquin’s FRNSW brigade was called to provide standby assistance to Moama while its firefighters were dealing with the incident, but were stood down before reaching Moama.
