The event will be held at The Echuca Hotel from 3pm to 7pm, with tickets priced at $55, covering a cocktail on arrival, grazing throughout the afternoon, four hours of live entertainment and music, interactive moments and prizes.
“I know myself, once upon a time I loved a dance floor, I loved a nightclub,” Sophie said.
“But it is just not achievable these days with three kids.
“Personally, I still love a champagne, I love catching up with my girlfriends, having a dance, having a sing, but also, I don’t want to be out late.”
The inaugural Girls Girls Girls event was held in Maribyrnong, selling out in 48 hours and drawing 420 women.
Echuca was chosen as the second location after a group of local women travelled to Melbourne for the first event.
“The reason I chose Echuca as the second location is we had a group of women; there were about eight to 10 of them, who had driven down from Echuca for the event, because they said we don’t get anything like this up there,” Sophie said.
“I was grateful that they drove down all the way from Echuca, but I was like, ‘You know what, I’m going to come to you next time.’”
Sophie said regional women deserved events tailored to them.
“I know regional women, they still enjoy these things, but being a bit further out, they don’t get the events Melbourne does, so I wanted to come up and celebrate the women up there,” she said.
Entertainment will be provided by local female DJ Jemima Hayes.
Women from Echuca, Moama, Rochester, Kyabram, Bendigo, Shepparton and surrounding areas are encouraged to secure tickets early on Eventbrite, as capacity is capped at 400 guests.
