Teen charged with vehicle thefts

A teenager has been charged with the theft of two vehicles from Mooroopna on Tuesday, January 7.

Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit Detective Senior Constable Nathan Berryman said a Ford Ranger ute and a Nissan were stolen from the street outside two Mooroopna homes.

The 19-year-old Mooroopna man has been charged with theft of two motor vehicles.

He has also been charged with several counts of theft from vehicles after allegedly breaking into several cars in Stanhope on January 7.

He has been bailed to appear in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in March.
