Still riding their high from last year, STAG is encouraging people to book their tickets early, expecting strong demand for the debut of a much-loved nostalgic tale.
Spearheaded by director Olivia Maher in her first production for STAG, Beauty and the Beast offers a magical, heartfelt spectacle, making it one of the world’s most treasured musicals.
Beauty and the Beast provides an unforgettable theatrical experience, helping audiences discover that true beauty comes from within.
The tale as old as time will highlight nostalgia through subtle nods to iconic storybook references, alongside musical numbers written especially for stage, celebrating the talent of the cast.
Leading the cast is Shannyn Catterall as Belle alongside James Noller as the Beast, with STAG newcomer Marc Aloi taking on the role of Gaston. They are joined by Guild Award winners Nicola Villani as Lefou and Ryan Black as Lumière, together with familiar STAG favourites Greg Wighton as Cogsworth, STAG life members Nicky Pummeroy as Mrs Potts and John Head as Maurice, along with Grace Newman as Babette and Megan Scott as Madame de la Grande Bouche.
Whether you are a Disney lover or not, this is expected to be a night out the whole family can enjoy.
There will be eight performances across the two first weekends in September, with the first show on September 4 at Riverlinks Westside, Mooroopna.
