Pezet, 20, made his NRL debut when star five-eighth Munster was sidelined with a finger injury and, with Jahrome Hughes suspended, he is set for his second game at halfback when the Storm face South Sydney on Friday night.
In his two games Pezet has been among Melbourne's best, with Munster saying it will be a welcome headache for Craig Bellamy to try to fit the youngster into their top side when Hughes returns.
During the opening four rounds almost a third of the top squad were unavailable for selection through injury.
"Pez (Pezet) has got a lot of confidence and he's a very good player," Munster told AAP.
"He is very level-headed for a young kid and loves working on his game. He wants to improve, so I like the way he goes about his business.
"He's really knocking on the door to stay in that 17 and I'm sure there's a lot of headaches for the club at the moment trying to fit him in."
Munster and Pezet combined to steer the Storm to a 24-12 win over the winless Wests Tigers last round and the Kangaroos playmaker expects improvement when they line up against Rabbitohs halves pairing Cody Walker and Lachlan Ilias at Accor Stadium.
Melbourne took a 22-6 halftime lead against the Tigers but on the back of two losses, played a conservative game to defend their lead in the second half.
"We've been working on our ball-handling and getting those combinations going, and we've got another week together," Munster said.
"I'm sure we can do even better against Souths.
"It was our first game together and the way we gelled at times in the first half, we played some really exciting footy.
"Hopefully we can bring that for 80 minutes this week."
Munster missed two games after dislocating and splitting a finger during the Storm's round-one win, and following surgery he wore a guard, which didn't inhibit his game against the Tigers.
"I was a little bit hesitant at times in tackles but I got through unscathed," the 28-year-old said.
"I was pretty happy with the way we played - it was a bit scratchy at times, but it was good to get the win.
"We worked hard for each other and our defence, which is what we pride ourselves on, but we need to be much better in certain areas to give the Rabbitohs a shake."
