Victorian Governor Linda Dessau, and her husband Anthony Howard, were guests of the Campaspe Shire and Rochester community last week — the information-gathering visit designed to provide the Governor with an understanding of the ongoing impacts of the floods.

She met with emergency services, shire representatives and community leaders, her unofficial tour guide being former Campaspe Shire Mayor and current chair of Rochester Recovery Committee, Leigh Wilson.
The Governor was following in the footsteps of Governor General David Hurley, who was on the ground with his wife Linda in Rochester in early November last year.
