Thanks to beautiful batting from Paul Newman and Kyle Mueller, where each posted a century, the Redbacks have a mammoth 7-348 on the board, a total making them a near certainty with a day to play.
But stranger things - albeit not many - have happened, and Tatura's batsmen will turn up at Kyabram Recreation Reserve keen to put their best foot forward.
The fight will begin with captain Michael Archer, who leads the side's batting this season with 122 runs, which included a gutsy 74 not out against Katandra.
Welsh import Connor Davies has only offered 52 runs for the year, but that did include a 41 against Old Students that showed his capabilities.
A ruthless approach from the Redbacks would have them chasing an outright victory, with the association's follow-on rules stating a team can be made to bat twice in a row if they are 100 or more runs behind the opposition's first innings total.
Opening quick Jackson McLay will have a big role to play, having taken seven wickets at 9.6 to back up his brilliant form from last season where he took 27 wickets at 13.2.
Tweaker Jonathan Hipwell also has seven wickets this campaign, with Lukas Hanslow (six at 17.2) and Alec Young (six at 17.3) also to be important.
Tatura will need to dig in in a big way, having only been able to bat out the 45 overs once in five one-dayers this season.
