A WELCOME start to 2019 with 112 bowlers on a perfect summer day at the Elmore Bowls Club.
The greens were running beautifully, the afternoon tea was excellent and the refreshments were cold.
At the end of play there were two three-game winners, with the team of G. Holmberg, I. Tinning, F. Vanderburgt and K. Tinning (all over 80 years of age) from Tongala named runners-up.
