Both top teams had massive wins in division one this week.

Misfits, still undefeated, easily took care of The Shoeless 10-1, and Projectile Dysfunction overcame Double Trouble also 10-1.

Hasbeens scraped home 6-5 against P*ssheads.

Division two was not that dissimilar, as both top teams won their games.

Pastoral Warriors, also still undefeated, had a very close 6-5 win over stable mates Pastoral Pirates, and Passouts had a 7-4 win against Tonny Terrors. Ocheholics had the bye.

Individual highlights

The highest average in first division this week went to Darren Manners with an impressive 24.87.

Darren also had the most tons with 12, and shared the shortest game of 18 darts with Dylan Oaff and Michael Bajowski.

He had a high peg of 104, but this was beaten by Max Crilly with 119. We have to apologise to Shane Broucek, he had a short game of 21 but was left off the earlier list.

Darryl Telfer topped the averages in second division with 15.98. Shane Valentine threw the most tons with five, Rob Molnar hit the highest peg with 104 and two players, Clive Fuller and Shane Valentine, both threw 23 dart games to lead the list.

DartConnect

We managed to get through the first week trialling DartConnect. There were a few noticeable hiccups and it’s hoped to have these ironed out before round seven on March 20.

Open singles

There’s no play next week due to the Association Open Singles. This will be held at the Pastoral Hotel. Names need to be in by 7pm for a 7.15pm start.

Tragic news

We were saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Pastoral barman Chris Rowe.

Condolences go out to Caz, CJ and Aurora. Chris was an important part of the Pastoral and would be well remembered by our members who had been served by him at some stage during the season.

Premier league

Many people have asked us when the Monday night league will kick off again. With the minimal amount of players lodging their names it may yet be some time.
