Vivienne was one of several Deni South students who earned the right to compete in Hay on February 26 after great results at their local carnival.
One of the records Vivienne broke was set 41 years ago, in the 12 year-old girls 50m freestyle.
Vivienne swam the race in a new record of 32.20 seconds.
She also got the new senior 100m freestyle record, which had been held for seven years, and the 12 year-old girls 50m backstroke record which had stood for six years.
As a result of her performances, Vivienne finished the district carnival as Senior Girl Champion.
But she was not the only Southie to earn a trophy on the day.
11 Year Boy Champion at Hay was Lachlan Jeffrey, and Junior Boy Champion was Jed Fitzmaurice.
Peggy O’Donnell was runner-up Junior Girl Champion.
