It marked quite the turnaround for Rumba, which had endured three successive heavy defeats since its previous win over Tongala in round nine, losing to Mulwala (113 points), Numurkah (99 points) and Nathalia (81 points) before producing one of the shocks of the season.
Having claimed its only other win in round nine against Tongala, Rumba doubled its tally for the year after overturning a three-point deficit at the final change to snatch a thrilling 9.12 (66) to 10.5 (65) victory at Rumbalara Recreation Reserve.
The Eagles led by five points at quarter-time and by three points at both half-time and three-quarter time, but Rumba produced a determined final quarter to secure one of its most memorable wins of the season.
Kydan Atkinson finished with two goals for Rumba, while Darnell Edwards and Jacob Bamblett were among the home side's standout performers.

Cody Haub did everything he could to drag Echuca United over the line with five goals, with Brady Simpson and Jack Reiter each adding two majors, but the visitors fell just short.
Next up, the victors will look to build upon their strong showing in round 14 with another victory up against Cobram on the road.
Elsewhere, Congupna's unbeaten march towards the minor premiership continued with a comfortable 13.8 (86) to 6.6 (42) victory over Finley.
The Road remains four games clear at the top of the ladder after extending its perfect season to 11 wins.
Mulwala kept the pressure on the league leader with the biggest win of the round, thrashing Moama 19.18 (132) to 4.4 (28), while Nathalia remained level with the Lions on premiership points after defeating Deniliquin 12.9 (81) to 6.6 (42).
Tongala rounded out the weekend with an important 10.10 (70) to 10.6 (66) victory over Numurkah. The Blues held their nerve in a tight contest to strengthen their grip on fifth place as the battle for finals positions continues to heat up.
