After several days of being closed, Watt Rd between Mooroopna and Kialla has reopened on the afternoon of Thursday, July 9.
The popular road had been shut since Saturday, July 4, due to flooding from the Goulburn River.
The river itself dropped below flood level earlier in the week, with VicEmergency issuing a final flood warning for the Goulburn River from Seymour to Shepparton at 10.50am on Tuesday, July 7.
At that time, the river was sitting below minor flood level at 9.36m in Shepparton.
At 4.30pm on Thursday, it was sitting at 7.58m.
Raftery Rd at Kialla West, which had also been closed due to flooding on the Seven Creeks, reopened earlier that Tuesday.
With Watt Rd now open, both key flood-affected routes in the Mooroopna, Kialla and Shepparton area have been restored.
