Cobram’s netballers faced a tough battle when they travelled to Nathalia at the weekend.

The Tigers’ A-grade outfit wasn’t enough to stop relentless Purple pressure when Nathalia claimed its 11th win of the season, 58-25.

Cobram’s B-grade outfit stepped up to the plate, delivering a convincing win over Nathalia 34-54.

The clash in C-grade came down to the wire, with Nathalia pulling away to secure a three-goal win, 40-37.

Meanwhile, Cobram’s C-grade reserve side struggled under the Purple pressure, coming up short in a close contest that saw the win go Nathalia’s way, 42-33.

Meanwhile, Barooga’s A-grade side fell to an impressive Rumbalara outfit 70-18, while the B-grade Hawks scraped home with a 48-45 goal win.

Barooga’s C-grade missed out on a win by just five points, 43-38, while C-grade reserve fell to Rumbalara 55-37.
