Warren will again mentor the A and B-grade sides while balancing playing responsibilities, with the club releasing a statement commending her for the groundwork laid during recent years at the helm.
“Following her year as an assistant in 2019, Ash has been dedicated to improving as a coach and formulating a winning culture amongst our ladies,” it read.
“(Season) 2022 will be no different, with Ash setting out significant goals for the top grades of Congupna netball to conquer.
“Ash will also be appointing an assistant for this year — as she is still playing, the intention is to ensure that both grades receive the same commitment as there is recognition of how vital depth will be, especially into this upcoming season.”
An equal-ninth finish for Congupna left it well outside finals contention would they have been played – but with a certain stop-start feel to the season, Warren will be out to prove a point when netball returns in what is hoped to be a smoother campaign next year.
And with Warren’s assistant yet to be named, the club invited new players to join in for 2022.
“We wish all of the A and B-grade netball plenty of enjoyment and betterment for the 2022 season at The Road,” the statement read.
“The remaining netball coaching positions are still up for grabs, and the application window has been extended.”
The Road has opened expressions of interest to join the club for season 2022, which can be sent to congupnafnc@gmail.com
