The weather cleared up for our first game of the season. B Grade have been working hard over the pre-season and were able to convert those skills into the game. Whilst the end result was not as we had hoped, there are many positives to take away from our first game. Our incredible goalers, Eb, Zoe and Danielle held strong in the ring. Alainah, Georgia P and Georgia H worked the attack end beautifully providing clear strong drives to work the ball into the ring. Our youngest member, Soph, showed tenacity and skill and was able to adapt to any task asked of her. Our defenders Jess, Chey, Annie, Ella and Celine worked tirelessly in the backline. Their persistence and defensive pressure resulted in some great turnovers. Irrespective of the loss, B Grade have much to be proud of.

Our girls were eager to get back on the court and don the Hoppers’ dress. With a brand new team this year coach Sarah was extremely impressed with the communication this team already has and the pressure down the court was spectacular. Our goalers were on fire with goals going in from everywhere. We kept fresh legs in our defence this week which gave all our girls the time to recover - and when they were on they kept it tight. Any combination that was used was unstoppable. It was a great game to watch and sees our girls’ hard preseason paying off. Bring on Hoppers 2024.

It’s been a long seven months and we know you've been counting down the days for the C Res Hoppers write up. Well, we are back baby!
The girls were straight into it against the Tungamah Bears for their first fight of the 2024 season. With 12 players on the team (some new, some veterans) C Res wasn't short of good-looking athletes.
The game was neck and neck throughout, with shooters Shezza ‘Ricky Ds’ McBurnie, Britta and Teags, aka Steph Curry, absolutely smacking them goals in.
Midcourt has Edos Speedos, Illa, Loz and Alysse tearing up the concrete with some unbelievable passes and zero stepping. Wow!
Defence by Gail, Trudz and Mel Burke protected the post like it was the last steak sanga at Thursday night training.
Unfortunately the gals lost by a measly one goal. It's alright though, we will be ready for it come round 15, lookout Bears. Time for the girls to let Asics cool down and the dancing shoes heat up for Rennie's renowned Ipod Shuffle night.

With a new group of under 15s this year, the girls were eager to get back into the swing of netball season. The girls have worked incredibly hard over preseason which was notable on the court. Our goalers, Charlotte, Sienna and Layla worked beautifully together utilising every scoring opportunity. Mim, Mia, Ruby and Jasi worked well in the midcourt, moving the ball well and creating plenty of strong drives. Our defensive end - Kate, Sam and Tess - worked tirelessly against a strong attack. There is plenty of positives that come from the game, even if it wasn’t the result we had hoped for. We look forward to the rest of the 2024 season.

With a new group of girls for 2024 we were all pretty excited and a little bit nervous to start our first game against Tungamah at home. It was a low scoring game, 7-4 in Tungamah’s favour but our girls showed their never give up attitude and we are looking forward to a great season ahead.

What a great first round for Under 11s for 2024. With a mix of girls from last year and some new faces on the court it was wonderful to see all the girls keen to put into play what they’d been learning at training. We saw a few intercepts and a great start at positioning on the court. Match fitness will come as the weeks go on and most importantly, the girls all really looked like they were having a ball out there.
