Dookie United, fresh off a rampaging 116-point win over Merrigum, will become the latest team to try and halt Murchison-Toolamba.
The Grasshoppers enter the round four contest undefeated and coach Nick Iorianni has his charges in superb form.
Victories over Rushworth (93 points) and Stanhope (15 points) were followed by a clinical performance last weekend.
Murchison-Toolamba travelled to Nagambie and handed the Lakers a 75-point defeat.
Leigh Wellington was best-on in the win, while James Lloyd booted four majors.
United co-coach Jack Threlfall, speaking after his side’s victory last weekend, said he was expecting a fierce hit-out against the Grasshoppers.
“Next week we take on Murch and we’re expecting it to be a good contest,” he said.
“I didn’t get to play them last season, so it will be my first look at them up close, but they have got some quality players and are right up there at the moment.
“It will be a good test for us.”
Around the grounds, Merrigum will be out to bounce back following a disappointing loss to Dookie United.
The Bulldogs are at home against Violet Town, who will be hungry to clinch its second win of the campaign.
Elsewhere, Shepparton East returns home after its mammoth win over Undera last Sunday.
The Eagles thumped Undera by over 200 points, highlighted by coach Rob Osborne’s six majors.
Meanwhile, Tallygaroopna welcomes Rushworth in what shapes up to be a tight battle.
Last year’s minor premier Lancaster heads down to take on Longwood.
The Wombats enjoyed a comfortable win over Tallygaroopna last week.
Nic Ryan was a standout in the ruck, while midfielders Jack Donnell and Charlie Lowe kept up a constant supply of chances which allowed forward Tim Strapp to again strut his stuff with five goals.
Small forward Kalon Reid was also active in attack, with three goals and some inspirational tackles.
After this Saturday, the Wombats have Shepparton East, Avenel, Merrigum, Murchison-Toolamba, Stanhope and Dookie United to contend with, so playing coach Tom Davies said his team wasn’t getting ahead of itself despite its positive start to the season.
‘‘We’ll have a better idea of where we are at when we meet those sides who are potential finalists,’’ Davies said.
Lastly, Avenel is at home to Undera and Stanhope plays host to a winless Nagambie.
