The ladder leader extended its perfect start to the season to 11 wins after dismantling Jerilderie by 90 points in round 12 in yet another emphatic result in what has been a remarkable campaign.
The Kats were simply too strong at Katandra Recreation Reserve, powering to a 21.10 (136) to 6.10 (46) victory to maintain a four-point buffer over second-placed Waaia and further cement themselves as the team to beat in 2026.
Already boasting the competition's best defensive record, Katandra again showcased its balance by piling on another triple-figure score while restricting Jerilderie to six goals.
After holding the Demons scoreless in the opening quarter to establish a 38-point lead, the Kats never looked back.
They stretched the margin to 56 points by half-time before a seven-goal third term blew the contest apart, eventually cruising home by 90 points.
Fletcher Paul was unstoppable in front of goal with seven majors, Joshua Kezerle added five and Mitchell Black chimed in with four as Katandra's forwards enjoyed another productive afternoon.
Chris Percy, Brayden Bell, Tyson Wilson and Harrison Willaton also put in big performances for the in-form victors, while Kane Hawkins battled hard with three goals for Jerilderie alongside George Flannagan, Mitch Diffey, Tom Lawton, Dylan Eldridge and Josh Winn.
The chasing pack kept pace elsewhere, with Waaia remaining within striking distance after a thumping 135-point win over Dookie United, while Strathmerton accounted for Blighty by 20 points.
Katamatite stayed level on points with Barooga inside the top five after comfortably defeating Deniliquin Rovers and Berrigan strengthened its finals position with a 44-point victory against Tocumwal.
Tungamah also collected an important win, defeating Picola United by 37 points, while Mathoura prevailed over Katunga by four points in the closest game of the round.
After Katamatite went all the way last year, clinching the finals spoils in the showpiece against Waaia, Katandra is in a strong position to earn a first flag since 2004 later this year.
Meanwhile, Tungamah continues to set the pace in Picola District Netball League A-grade after extending its unbeaten start to the season with a comfortable 50-28 victory over Picola United in round 12.
The Bears improved to a perfect 11-0 record to remain four points clear on top of the ladder, while second-placed Dookie United kept the pressure on with a 49-33 win over Waaia.
Katandra also stayed level with Dookie United on 10 wins after producing one of the standout performances of the round, thumping Jerilderie 77-36.
Further down the ladder, Tocumwal strengthened its top-six position with a convincing 52-23 win against Berrigan, while Katamatite went down 30-44 to Deniliquin Rovers.
Elsewhere, Barooga lost to Rennie 44-42, Strathmerton accounted for Blighty 48-29 and Katunga rounded out the winners with a 43-26 success over Mathoura.
With the business end to the campaign fast approaching, Tungamah remains the team to catch, with Dookie United and Katandra its closest challengers on 40 points.
