Midweek bowls is back on the agenda at last as the Goulburn Valley Playing Area Edna Harling Shield roared back into action across the region on Tuesday.

Kyabram, Euroa, Tatura and East Shepparton played host to round 10 action, with the latter welcoming ladder-leading local rivals Shepparton Park.

Park took care of its business as favourites, ensuring its slim grasp on top spot would remain intact for another week in earning its seventh win of the season 14-67 to 2-62.

Shepparton Golf did its part to maintain the three-team chasing pack for first place after dispatching Euroa 14-79 to 2-58.

Seymour kept things tight at the top as well by following suit in triumphing over Tatura Hill Top, but received a much bigger scare in doing so.

Elsewhere, Kyabram further enhanced its status as one of the unluckiest second-bottom teams in any local league after bottom side Rushworth cleaned up the points 14-78 to 2-57.
