P*ssheads had their chances but couldn’t hit their doubles.
As they say, “Score for show, doubles for dough”.
In the final game, The Shoeless came awful close to winning their first game, going down to Double Trouble 6-5.
There has been a marked improvement in The Shoeless since they were relegated to Division 1, their player’s stats are on the improve every week.
No surprises in Division 2.
Pastoral Warriors remain undefeated winning 7-4 over Ocheholics. Pastoral Pirates, without their spearhead Shane Valentine, put up no resistance against Passouts. Passouts won 7-4.
Tonny Terrors had the bye.

Passouts’ ‘Ring In’ Trevor Kent topped the Division 2 tons list with 7, Rob Molnar threw 6.
Molnar proved to be the outstanding player in Division 2 with the highest average 17.65 and the shortest game with 22 darts.

State team selection trials
Over the weekend two of our local players ventured to Melton to compete in the stage one section of the state team selection trials with great success.
Michael Bajowski topped the list, winning 30 of his 35 matches while Dylan Oaff, who was last year’s first reserve, won 25 which was enough to get him through, with Bajowski, to stage two.
Jodie Oakley was due to play in the women’s event. However, due to a lack of entries, stage one was cancelled with all ladies progressing to stage two.
Echuca Moama is well represented at state level this year.
Joanne Hadley and Michael Cassar, along with Geelong’s Brandon Weening, are automatic selections into the state team as they were all Australian representatives last year.
Janine Cassar, as a current state, player had already progressed to stage two where she will now be competing against Oakley and 14 other women to represent again.
Good luck to all, you’re all putting Echuca Moama darts on the darting map.
Stage two will be played in Dandenong on May 4-5 where 16 men and 16 women will play off against each other. The top 6 men will join Michael and Weening, and the top seven women will be joining Hadley to become this year’s state team.
The next four men and women will play in the reintroduced State Reserve Challenge later in the year.
The Australian championships will again be held at Rich River Golf Club on August 5-11.
Spectators are most welcome.
Monday night pastoral league
Due to the overwhelming lack of response, the start date for the Monday Night Pastoral League is still in doubt.
Next Monday, April 22, there will be a registration meeting at 7pm for anybody interested in playing.
If you can’t make it, but still wish to play, let us know.
We are also running a knockout ‘Double Start’ Graded Drawn Doubles if we have enough entries.
