The courts and facilities were in great condition, and organisers thanked the Benalla Gardens members.
In Section 1, the premier team for 2024 was St Paul’s Euroa which won a well-fought match against Euroa Lawn 70 games to 43.
In the Section 2 decider, Moglonemby was crowned premiers, defeating Terip Terip 61 games to 51.
The Section 3 premiership was won by the evergreen Swanpool, which prevailed over rivals Benalla Gardens 68 games to 45.
A club spokesperson said all matches were played in great spirits, and the quality of the tennis was of a high standard, which was a pleasure to witness.
“Congratulations to our three winning teams who thoroughly deserved their victories,” the spokesperson said.
“Well done to our runner-up teams on making the grand final and displaying great sportsmanship in defeat.
The best and fairest players for the 2023/2024 season are:
Section 1 best female player: Faye Mollison, St Paul’s Euroa.
Section 1 best male player: Jason Blake, Strathbogie.
Section 2 best female player: Megan James, Swanpool.
Section 2 Best male player: Paul Larkin, Swanpool.
