Shepparton South hosts Juventus Academy clinic

Juventus Academy Melbourne rolled into town last week, giving the next generation a chance to kick it like a pro.

Hosted by Shepparton South Soccer Club, kids donned the black and white of Juventus to work on the fundamentals of the game throughout the three-day clinic.

Technical director Sebastiano Disco said enthusiasm was at an all-time high, making note of the event's success.

“We’re very happy to be here doing something for regional kids because we always work in the big city,” Disco said.

“It is very important for us to come out here as much as we can and give opportunity to everyone.

“Throughout the clinic we try to touch on all the aspects of the game, giving the kids a taste of what Juventus Academy looks like.

“I would like to thank Shepparton South for the opportunity, they have been very accommodating.”

Shepparton South president Gino Cirillo also touched on what was a bumper experience for those in attendance, saying it was a "great opportunity for kids in the area.”
