With the makeup of the final four sealed in the Murray Valley Cricket Association, tomorrow’s play serves as a litmus test for the looming finals series in March.

For some time there has been light and day between the sides set to compete past February and those not moving on and, with Saturday signalling the end of the home and away season, the quartet of sides vying for the flag will hope to send an early warning shot to the rest.

After rolling the hosts for 123, the Rhinos looked in cruise control as it raced to none for 37 from 12 overs, however a collapse leaves the side on 4-62 with Jack Tonta and Mick Barnett resuming at the middle.

Despite a March appearance out of the question for Nathalia, Tocumwal and Cobram-Yarroweyah, the combine will look to save face and avoid an outright defeat after having the kitchen sink thrown at it by the Purples last week.

Nathalia heads to the crease at 4-188 having already secured a first innings victory, while a bye for Tocumwal means the side does not have to lift a finger until October.
