The curtain has been drawn back on the 2020 NAB League boys season, revealing an early blockbuster encounter at Deakin Reserve for the Murray Bushrangers.

Following the opening clash against Gippsland Power, round two offers up the chance for homegrown high flyers to strut their stuff in front of a roaring local crowd when country rivals Bendigo Pioneers roll into town on March 28.
Following a rigorous string of away fixtures, the Bushrangers return to the D on August 2 to face premiership runner-up Eastern Ranges in the penultimate round of the competition.
Lastly, the side will have the chance to drink in arena-associated euphoria when it squares off against Greater Western Victoria Rebels at Mars Stadium in the final game of the home and away season.
Meanwhile, the girls side will not have to wait nearly as long for such an experience.
The Bushrangers will fight for its first points of the season against Oakleigh Chargers in a round one curtain raiser to Richmond versus Collingwood at Wangaratta’s Norm Minns Oval.
With plenty of miles to cover during the following rounds, the Bushrangers will have respite from the road on March 28 when the side vies for bragging rights against old foe Bendigo Pioneers at Deakin Reserve.
Towards the back end of the season, the Bushrangers will take to the air in round eight to face Tasmania in Launceston on April 26, before finishing its campaign against Eastern Ranges in Box Hill two weeks later.
