Toolamba's Carter Briant, 7, and Shepparton's Tylar Neely, 8, have been selected to compete at the Australian Supercross Open, to be held at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on November 30.
Having ticked a number of strenuous boxes to be eligible for selection, KTM Australia selected the duo as two of just 20 kids across Australia to get the opportunity to ride the epic event.
While racing in a 55 000 seat stadium will be the opportunity of a lifetime, it is not the only priceless experience the youngsters will receive, getting the chance to spend the day with the factory riders in KTM's race team.
Motocross legends Chad Reed and Ricky Carmichael will walk the track with the juniors, dishing out a few tips and tricks to try and tame the difficult course.
KTM is providing all the riders a full set of gear they can keep, as well as the use of a brand new motorbike for the night.
Briant's father Scott said the pair, that recently completed its first racing season, was getting amped ahead of what will be a huge experience.
“They're very excited, although my son is pretty modest and hasn't told anyone at school yet,” he said.
“Tylar is extremely excited and Carter is getting there, he's riding pretty much every day.
“This sort of opportunity doesn't come around every day.”
Briant finished second in the recent GV Junior Motorcycle Club championships 50cc class, as well as third in the 65cc class after a nine-race season.
Cleaves Garden Supplies, AJ's Motorcycles and Tune Techs Suspension have all come on board to sponsor Carter for the big event.
