In the opening round of the C-grade season, the Grasshoppers, led by a superb man-of-the-match performance from Luke Dabkowski, proved too strong for the Bloods.
Dabkowski rattled through the Karramomus line-up - after the home side won the toss and batted first - taking 5-23 off eight overs as the Bloods were bowled out for 141 from 39.1 overs.
The Grasshoppers' talented all-rounder then produced a clinical 51 opening the batting, as his side strolled to victory four wickets down from 24 overs.
David Marsters (59 runs) combined with Dabkowski for a matchwinning 106-run partnership.
For the Bloods, their captain Ash Taylor stood tall with the bat, top scoring with 45.
Elsewhere, Toolamba clinched an impressive six-wicket victory at home against Mooroopna Blue.
Chasing 107 to win, Toolamba made light work of the Cats with Greg Watts hitting a matchwinning 48 runs for the Taipans.
Before his heroics with the bat, Watts grabbed 1-15 from his eight overs and along with with teammate Xavier Dowell (1-6 off eight overs) proved too good for the Mooroopna Blue batsmen.
At Howley Oval, Tatura suffered a 75-run loss against Shepparton United.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, United got off to a strong start with Russell Jarrett (48) and Lachlan Watts (37) posting a 75-run opening partnership.
But it was Steve Tate (84 not out) who starred with the bat, helping the Kangaroos post 4-227 from their 40 overs.
In reply, Tatura was bundled out for 152 with United's Henry Jackson nabbing 3-20 from his six overs.
At Mooroopna's Leon Heath Oval, Mooroopna White clinched a 88-run win against Pine Lodge.

However, it was their bowling that helped seal the win.
Pine Lodge lost 5-3, as Gary Hallum (3-23) and Andrew Morcom (2-27) ran riot to skittle the Lodgers for 80 off 20.3 overs.
Finally, Numurkah chased down Nagambie's total of 167 in what turned out to be a thrilling encounter.
