With most sports postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19, Seymour Golf Club is encouraging people to try a new sport.
The club recently opened when restrictions were lifted and is hoping to provide an outlet for local athletes.
Club member Irene Davey said the club could provide sanitised equipment and an introduction to the game for new players.
“There’s no problems with social distancing as we have plenty of room to spread out. Come and enjoy a 7km casual stroll in the open air,” she said.
“You can start small with a few holes then progress to nine or 18. You can play at your own pace and you might even see some native wildlife.
“It’s a great activity for the whole family and I encourage people to give golf a go.”
