Two Cobram police officers injured in a Strathmerton crash, in which a Tasmanian man died, have now been released from hospital.
The two male police officers, a first constable and detective sergeant, received upper-body injuries in the collision between a police vehicle and a van on the Murray Valley Hwy on Monday, February 14.
Both officers were flown to The Alfred hospital in Melbourne, but have now been released.
One officer, aged in his 60s, was released from hospital early this week.
It follows the release from hospital at the weekend of the other police officer, aged in his 30s.
A 60-year-old man from Longford in Tasmania died in the collision on the Murray Valley Hwy at the Stokes Rd intersection.
Police said at this early stage there was nothing to indicate the officers were in pursuit of the vehicle and it was believed they were on patrol as part of their duties.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have investigated the scene to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.
