Water main replacement works starting this month

Goulburn Valley Water will soon begin the construction of new and upsized water mains in Nagambie.

The project is split into two sections along High St, including the construction of a new 300mm water main that will run between Vine St and Church St.

The ageing, 70-year-old water main, which runs between Curramar Close and Nook Rd/Cemetery Lane in the southern end of town, will also be replaced and expanded.

GVW has appointed contractor Rankin Plumbing to undertake the works.

Construction will begin mid-April, with completion expected in July.

Those who will be affected by works will be contacted ahead of construction beginning in their area.
