The Shepparton-based Intimo stylist has been fitting and selling bras for 20 years now, evolving with the company as it has changed its offerings and delivery throughout the two decades.
Once a party plan model, COVID-19 lockdowns forced the company into a new approach.
“We had to adapt in a way where we could still help clients to the best of our ability,” she said.
“Now, we have this other platform — either in studio or virtually.
“The old party plan was exhausting; I felt I couldn’t give myself rest. I would be seeing 10 to 15 women at a time.“
Now, in her plush Intimo-accredited home studio, fittings are by appointment only and one-on-one, in a calmer and more controlled environment.
Sheree has designed her own space, where she lights candles, chooses the mood music and places fresh flowers.
“Each fitting is all about the individual client,” Sheree said.
“This helps women feel good and pampered.”
A fitting session will take around 60 to 90 minutes, depending on whether the client is new or returning.
Sheree will create a brief client profile so she can pay attention to details.
“It helps my clients feel heard, cared for and loved,” she said.
“I treat my clients how I’d like to be treated.”
Sheree said 80 per cent of women were wearing the wrong-sized bras.
Surgery, pregnancy, breast-feeding, and weight loss and gain are just some of the elements that cause women’s bra sizes to fluctuate.
“I can help take the stress and trauma out of having a bra-fitting,” Sheree said.
“If you’re a size 18 and a B cup or a size 10 and a G cup, I can help you.
“There’s no age limitation, no size limitation; Intimo does 10A to 46G sizes. You can’t get that in stores.”
Sheree recommends women get measured twice a year.

As a stylist, she looks at the overall picture, making sure the underwear is fitting well so that the outerwear fits well, too.
“I’m not going to sell something if I don’t feel you’re going to be happy in it,” Sheree said.
Aside from a generous range of bras for all purposes, Intimo also offers shapewear, active wear, a sleep range, some bathers, men’s boxers and an everyday high-quality range of staple wardrobe pieces made with silk, linen and natural fibres.
While reflecting on her milestone 20 years, Sheree said she still jumped out of bed in the mornings, excited about who she was seeing — and helping — that day.
“I’m so truly grateful for community, the local women and the ones who travel to see me, and for the support I’ve had from the company,” she said.
