To be held on Friday, July 7, the event promises to bring joy to attendees as part of CCH’s Community Connection and Resilience program.
“We hold a community lunch on the first Friday of the month and decided to brighten up the dreary weather by hosting a traditional Christmas lunch,” CCH chief executive Christine Osborne said.
Bookings are essential and spots are filling up fast.
Participants are asked to make a donation to attend.
July is a busy month for CCH, which will also be holding a free Health and Wellbeing Day with a focus on women’s general health, mental health and wellbeing.
The event, to be held on Friday, July 14 between 10.30am and 1.30pm, is part of the flood recovery program supported by Women’s Health Goulburn North East and CCH’s Community Connection and Resilience program.
The event will be held at the Cobram Civic Centre and will feature motivational speakers, activities, information session, pampering, self-care activities and health checks.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Mrs Osborne said everyone was welcome to attend both the Christmas in July function and the Health and Wellbeing Day.
“One of our goals is to build community connection and resilience, and we are motivated to host events to support this,” she said.
“We hope the community will continue to support these events.”
