Single vehicle crash at Mooroopna

The woman told police at the time that she had fallen asleep at the wheel.

Sgt Phillips said the woman, 40, allegedly tested positive to drugs in a roadside drug test after the crash.

The test has been sent for analysis.

Sgt Phillips said that if that test also returned positive, the woman would be fined or summonsed to a magistrates’ court on a drug driving charge.
