Founded by Goulburn Valley Health, the business runs programs and services across Victoria and NSW to provide ongoing home care to people who need it most.
Goulburn Valley Health chief executive Matt Sharp accepted the Victorian Public Healthcare Minister for Disability, Ageing and Carers Award for Excellence in Public Sector Aged Care on behalf of Community Interlink.
Mr Sharp said receiving the award was a wonderful recognition of the outstanding work carried out by every business across the group.
“We now have 19 health services working together to deliver outstanding care across our region and improving the health and wellbeing of our community,” Mr Sharp said.
“I am very proud of the work that all the staff have undertaken to ensure the success of Community Interlink and I look forward to continuing to work together with all our partners to achieve even better health outcomes for our collective community.”
The awards reflect priority areas identified by the government and focus on their ability to drive change and improve health outcomes for all Victorians.
