The Seymour Volunteer Group will celebrate forty years of supporting the Cancer Council Victoria on Tuesday, June 4.
Founding member Marnie Sloane remains actively involved after attending the public meeting to start the Seymour Cancer Crusade Unit as it was known in 1984.
The Group is inviting expressions of interest from former members and friends who would like to attend the lunch at noon on Tuesday, June 4.
A representative of the Cancer Council Victoria will be there to join in celebrating this significant milestone with members and friends.
The volunteer group needs more members to continue their work.
The group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at the Cancer Services Unit in Seymour Health from 7pm.
