Shepparton comic fans are in for a treat tomorrow as regional Victoria’s biggest pop culture event, NerdMania, returns for its fifth year.
Heroes, villains and all characters in between will descend on the Multipurpose Pavilion at Shepparton Showgrounds from 10 am.
Word and Mouth project manager Jim Gow said this year's event would be bigger and better than years before.
“We’ve got a couple of really prominent artists coming as guests including Dean Rankine who has done work with The Simpsons and Rick and Morty comics; and Chris Kennette who has done a lot of work around Star Wars,” Mr Gow said.
The event will play host to more than 50 stalls including vintage gaming consoles, fandom bits and pieces and food trucks.
Mr Gow said there would be something for everyone.
“This year there is a big focus on family friendly activities to involve the little superheroes including workshops, photo opportunities and a dedicated superhero zone,” he said.
The Word and Mouth youth committee and Greater Shepparton City Council are looking forward to providing a greater experience than previous years, rivalling bigger events such as SupaNova and Oz Comic-Con.
NerdMania will held at the Multipurpose Pavilion at the Shepparton Showgrounds tomorrow from 10 am to 5 pm.
