Figures released by the Crime Statistics Agency show a slight rise of 0.9 per cent in criminal incidents across Moira Shire in the year ending March 2026, compared to the previous 12 months.
Criminal incidents in Yarrawonga increased slightly more than 10 per cent from 368 to 405.
The most reported criminal incidents across the shire were 217 breaches of family violence orders though that number has reduced from 248 in the previous year.
All principal offence subgroups were lower than last year with the exception of serious assaults, which increased from 85 to 106 over the past year.
Of all the criminal incidents across the shire, charges have been laid in 45.9 per cent of cases with 36.9 per cent remaining unsolved.
