Having seen the devastating impact the bushfires are having on children just like herself, Shepparton youngster Chloe Sleeth decided to roll up her sleeves and make some dough for dollars.
For the past week, six-year-old Chole has spent hours mixing and measuring to create dozens of balls of playdough to sell and raise vital funds for the bushfire appeal.
Young Chloe has been selling the dough at Shepparton's Rebound Ultimate Trampoline Park and Play Centre for children to take home and enjoy playing with throughout the school holidays.
Chloe's mum and Rebound owner Joanna Sleeth said she was extremely proud of her daughter's efforts.
“She has so far raised $150 and she just whipped up a new batch yesterday to replenish the stock,” Ms Sleeth said.
“We have also decided that the money raised will be equally matched by our centre," she said.
Chloe will continue her fundraising efforts throughout this week and is inviting the Shepparton community to come in and buy some playdough for a good cause.
