Despite Broadford winning two of the three rinks, Kilmore's successful rink, skipped by Trevor Young, won 38 to 16 against Daryl Kelly.
Broadford won its rinks 21 to 13 and 19 to 17.
The result means Broadford will play Wallan on March 13 for the other spot in the grand final, after the latter defeated VRI by one shot.
Much like Kilmore, Wallan had to rely on one big rink win as Stephen Duncan knocked off Michael Szczykulski 28-15.
Joe Purcell defeated Paul Warren 25-21 and Greg Jones was too good for Gregory Cowan 25-17 in VRI's rink victories.
● Murray Bowls Division made up for lost time on Saturday, playing round 12 fixtures after round 13 and 14 had been completed in previous weeks.
Numurkah Golf took Barooga to the cleaners winning 16-111 to 2-62, with Brian Stanger (34-11) and Geoff Sutcliffe (34-12) skipping big wins.
Kerry Ralph was Barooga's rink winner in the second versus third clash, as she won 22-18 against Joseph Luci.
Tocumwal Golf was also too good for Numurkah as it won all rinks, 18-102 to 0-64.
Bill Dowling defeated Alan Rogers 23-10 and Chris Philpot beat Ross Higgins 28-18 to record the bigger wins of the day.
Another big winner was Cobram, which knocked off Strathmerton by 39 shots.
Taking all four rinks, Cobram was too good right across the board, with Gregory Dunn (25-13) and Michael Toohey (28-16) recording 12-shot wins and Raymond Parks (25-14) finished 11 up against Matthew Graham.
The final rink was a four-shot difference in favour of Cobram.
Finley nearly got itself off the bottom of the ladder by causing a huge upset against Wunghnu in the only close game of the round.
Finley beat the minor premier 14-80 to 4-78, with Ashleigh Haines’ 15-shot victory the difference.
Warren Blanch also recorded a rink win of six shots to contribute to the unlikely victory.
