The Blues have bolstered their 2019 line-up with the likes of co-coach Darby Walsh, returning from Shepparton Swans, ruckman Jacob Barrington, who has represented the Central Murray Football League during his days at Koondrook-Barham, and former premiership players Taylor Beard and Sean Solar are returning.
“I think we are going to be really competitive against tough opposition,” Walsh said.
“I think the general standard is going to lift.
“We're always aiming to go as far as we can and you always should be looking to go for the premiership, but having said that it's a strong league and strong players are coming in.”
Walsh, who will be coaching with Scott McKenzie this year, said Barrington would be one to watch.
“I think he'll do a really good job,” he said.
“Luke Woolen, from Tongala, will also provide a lot for us right over the ground.”
