Minor flooding is possible on the Goulburn River at McCoys Bridge overnight Saturday, August 15, into Sunday.
At noon Friday, the river at McCoys Bridge was at 7.71m and steady, below the minor flood level.
Residents along the Goulburn River should stay informed and monitor conditions.
People living or camping on the Goulburn River between Shepparton and Kanyapella should expect river level rises on Friday and Saturday as floodwater arrives from Shepparton.
People can check levels by visiting bom.gov.au/vic/warnings and stay informed by listening to emergency broadcasters and monitoring warnings.
Murray River Council has again closed Moama beach, as the Murray River again rises.
Due to further localised flooding at the beach on Friday, August 14, the area has been closed.
There is no vehicle access to the main car park.
Water releases from Yarrawonga Weir are expected to cause river level rises along the Murray River between Yarrawonga and Barmah over the coming days
River levels are expected to rise gradually and may inundate low lying areas adjacent to the river. Conditions may change over the coming days as river levels respond to the water releases.
Rises are forecast to remain below the minor flood level.
Campsites, sections of parkland, and areas close to the riverbank are likely to be affected. Campers are encouraged to move to higher ground or safer locations.
