Hosted outside My Shop in Napier St, business owner Denise Phillips and an army of workers and volunteers put on a massive spread.
People could stay and enjoy the treats and socialise, or takeaway to enjoy later.
Proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Council to fund research and support programs.
“We had so many turn up,” Mrs Phillips said.
“The Rotary Club of Deniliquin made a $2000 donation, and we had people donating items to sell that have never given before.
“Christine Beckwith made 110 sticky date puddings and so many more items, Prue Grant was again very generous and Jennifer Pate made all the scones.
“And there were many others, and donations kept coming in on Friday.”
Chris Stonham won the handmade quilt in the raffle, donated by Joy Bennett.
The basket of homemade goods donated by Christine Beckwith was won by Nella Dearo.
Local Cancer Council volunteers will now turn their attention to Daffodil Day.
