A car crashed through a fence and hit a parked car before coming to rest in a Shepparton front yard on Tuesday, August 15.
Shepparton Highway Patrol Senior Constable Grant McDonald said the Holden Commodore crashed through a wire fence in front of a home in Olympic Ave about 6.50pm.
The Commodore then hit another vehicle parked in the drive, before coming to a stop in the front yard, Sen Constable McDonald said.
The driver, a 50-year-old Shepparton woman, was taken to hospital after the crash.
Sen Constable McDonald said the cause of the crash was yet to be determined, as police had not yet spoken to the driver.
“We are unable to ascertain whether it was a medical event or something else,” he said.
However, he did say alcohol was not a contributing factor.
Police inquiries into the crash are pending.
