Big names in radio coming to town

Two big Melbourne breakfast radio hosts will present a live broadcast from a famous Echuca paddlesteamer on Monday, April 29.

3AW Breakfast with Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft team is producing an outside broadcast live from PS Pevensey from 5.30am to 8.30am.

Locals are invited to visit the Port of Echuca, where PS Pevensey will be moored to host the pair for their first outside broadcast.

Visit Victoria has partnered with 3AW to bring the show to town as part of its new Every bit different tourism campaign.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with 3AW Breakfast to highlight some of the local tourism businesses that make Echuca ‘Every bit different’ and drive visitation to the region,” Visit Victoria chief executive officer Brendan McClements said.

“From paddle-steamer cruises on the Murray River, to wineries and ghost tours, there’s something for everyone in this special part of the state.

“This partnership is another example of how Visit Victoria is promoting the region and supporting the local economy to recover following the 2022 floods.”

Everyone is invited aboard to enjoy their morning coffee listening live to the broadcast. It will include interviews with a Visit Victoria spokesperson and a tourism operator.

The event is on Monday, April 29, from 5.30am to 8.30am on PS Pevensey at the Port of Echuca, 74 Murray Esplanade, Echuca.
